A dark, compartmentalised apartment reimagined as one continuous, light-filled family home.
The Challenge
The project needed to work harder than its existing condition allowed. The brief called for a space that felt more open, more functional, and more aligned with the client's daily rhythm, while staying realistic about budget, site constraints, and delivery time.
The family wanted more daylight, better movement between rooms, and a calmer material palette without a drawn-out renovation. EcoWave studied the existing plan, removed non-structural barriers, and rebuilt the living, dining, and kitchen sequence around light, storage, and daily routines.
Our Approach
We started with the site and then shaped the design through planning, material studies, lighting logic, and 3D visualisation. That sequence allowed the client to understand each decision before construction moved forward.
We do not add complexity for show. We look for the few design moves that make the space easier to live in, work in, and remember.
